Imperialism

What is the real meaning of Imperialism?
Imperialism (noun); Domination by one country of the political, economic, or cultural life of another country or region.

Imperialism is basically dominating ones country by means of force.  One country will control another countries economic, relgious, and govermental aspects of life.  This was a major situation in the worlds  history because it proved who were the strongest powers and who were the weakest.
